Nashville's RED FOREST HUNTER is a group of seasoned hardcore/metal/math rock veterans from Serotonin, Asschapel, et al. Politically charged and personally passionate, each note and word is crafted from a place of frustration and angst. Lyrically, RFH is a warning cry to a culture migrating toward the edge of a cliff, a nod of recognition to those living off scraps, a dusty record of wrongdoings. Musically, it is a collection of underground influences spanning from DC to San Diego so dense that it is hard to quantify, honed to a unique and sharp edge. It is aggressive, melodic, dark and uptempo, composed of precision dual-guitar feuding, furious drumming, punishing bass, triple vocals, with an average song length of two minutes. Perhaps the best descriptors are loud, fast, short, and angry.
